What's involved?
Planning

Prepare Environment
Taking a backup of the current system, preparing the environment for the upgrade, and testing the upgrade process in a test environment.
Upgrade Code
Upgrade code identified in the planning stage that needs to be upgraded to work with new release.
Execute
Installing the new version of Business Central, migrating any data that is needed, and configuring the system to work with the new version.
Test

Deploy
Install the system in the production environment, configuring it, and migrating any data that is needed.
